HOPE Boards Landing Page

For decades, HOPE’s Board of Directors has successfully advanced HOPE’s mission of creating stable, affordable housing options for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  In 2014, HOPE Inc. began creating additional affordable housing with HUD home funds. 

Because HUD funded housing programs require each HUD property’s corporation to have its own Board of Directors separate from HOPE Inc.’s Board of Directors, which oversees the HOPE organization, HOPE and its sister affiliated HUD Boards have separate websites for their legal, governance, and orientation documents and processes, and for their Board meeting materials.

Although separate entities, all HOPE and HUD Board members value collaborative teamwork and continuous learning as they follow best practices for nonprofit Boards in meeting their legal governance and fiduciary obligations.
